Designed as a main flow and/or exhalation filter in a heated exhalation system. The transparent plastic casing allow easy monitoring and inspection of the filter.
When used as a main flow filter, Manifold-Filter minimizes particles and bacteria delivered to the patient, and reduces the possibility of bacteria reentering the ventilator, where the reinfection or cross-infection might result. Used as an exhalation filter in a heat exhalation system, Manifold-Filter minimizes bacteria in exhaled gas from venting to room air. The filter also protects the ventilator’s exhalation and spirometry systems, and is designed for repeated autoclavings.
Used in conjunction with the Bacterial Filter Heater

Efficiency: When new, minimum efficiency of 99.999% retention of 0.3 μm and larger particles at a flow of 100 Lpm, and pressure drop of approximately 2.5 cmH2O at 100 Lpm. Maximum allowable pressure drop across the filter is 4 cmH2O (0.06 psi) at 100 Lpm.
